Description:
- At least 1 year of land surveying experience in a Survey CAD Technician role
- Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, preparation of easement documents, legal descriptions, and preliminary and final subdivision plat preparation
- Basic working knowledge of Trimble Business Center
- Ability to operate AutoCAD Civil 3D with established and standardized CAD templates for office and field product in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, project coordination, and interaction with other design services
- Strong listening, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Understands use of city/county/NGS control monuments
- Ability to work with other members of the team
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D specific for Survey drafting
- Must be proficient and knowledgeable to create 3D surfaces from field points
- Working knowledge of State of Colorado requirements for each type of survey or ability to learn quickly
- Self-Starter with good work ethic requiring minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
- You will perform land survey work using routine surveying practices and equipment
- Coordinate with and work with graduate engineers, project managers, professional surveyors, field crews, and other office staff to produce a deliverable that meets the quality standards and requirements.
- Assisting Professional Land Surveyors with CAD product, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal descriptions, and subdivision platting
- Reduce field notes from field collected data into survey/civil grade base maps
