What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Test Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
-Inertial Navigation system experience, operating/maintaining.
-Serves as the technical representative of government customers to support INS-R building systems, equipment testing, interpreting, and evaluating data (to include higher level mathematical equations and analysis).
-Recommend best practices and develop solutions to challenging technical problems.
-Review technical and design documentation and support engineers in the development of test plans and procedures for equipment/system certifications.
-Prepare status, progress, and final report for INS-R Production.
-Build, Light-off, configure, test, troubleshoot, repair and operate INS-R systems and peripheral equipment in support of project.
-Verify functionality of newly INS-R systems.
Skills:
Linux, testing, maintenance, shipboard, control systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-7 years of hands-on experience with US Navy Navigation equipment and systems.
