Summary:
The main function of the role is to drive the engineering development of display system integration including novel integration equipment and processes.
The role will closely collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that consists with material scientists, mechanical engineers, optical engineers, automation engineers, and product operations teams.
Job Responsibilities:
* Drive DFM reviews, equipment bring-up and qualification, and maintenance and quality control in-field
* Develop SOPs for on-site operations and training
* Provide data analysis and reports of tool performance and build data summary
* Design and drive tooling DOEs to support development of equipment architecture feasibility, tool iterations, reliability.
* Drive in-field failure analysis of performance gap of equipment
* Manage international vendors and partners to co-develop tools.

* Experience of developing new product in the consumer electronic category
* 5 years of experience in bringing up optical metrology systems, machine vision systems, precision alignment systems, or opto-mechanical automation systems for mass-production
* Knowledge of structural and stress analysis and FEA
* Master or Ph.D in optical engineering, mechanical engineering, and equivalent fields;
* Experience of working with international vendors for automation tool development;
