Description:
Perform acceptance and performance testing for AV components, component integration tests, and HIL test etc.
Design, build, and maintain test benches and flash software
Develop tools and processes to repeatedly automate testing
Cross functional collaboration with internal and external team to drive requirement compliance
Perform testing activities on AV components in both labs setting and on-road vehicle environment
Documenting, Reviewing, and reporting of test setup, test plans, and test results
Preparing samples, test setups etc. and develop firmware /scripts/application run on the components and managing many priorities at the same time
Perform in depth debugging of components
Diagnostics and Flash Requirement Specification
Diagnostics Tool Specification
Candela CDD and CAN DBC Specification
Test Specifications, Reports and Trace logs
Development of Diagnostic Tool Requirements over CAN as per ISO 14229
Development of Diagnostic Tool Requirements over Ethernet as per ISO 13400
Develop CDD file or DBC file with relevant Diagnostic services
Diagnostics testing on integrated systems using Vector tools
Pre and post Flash sequence on VFlash as custom actions
Development of custom test scripts on CANoe.Diva for testing
Verification and Validation using Indigo tool
Top Skills/Experience:
Test, Electrical, Test Case, Test Fixture, Python, Labview, Matlab, C, CAN, Diagnostic Testing
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/ Robotics
3-5 years of testing experience
Basic knowledge of common vehicle electrical and networking systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc). Electrical testing for ECU, High Computing Devices, Sensors
Lab equipment experience with power supplies, oscilloscope's function generators and multimeters etc.
Experience with Test automation, and hands on testing in a lab environment
Root-cause analysis experience, particularly with automotive ECUs and sensors
Experience with environmental and/or shock/vibration testing
Familiarity with EMC or Regulatory Testing
Experience with an issue-tracking and task management software platform such as JIRA, Polarion, Confluence, Testrail
Experience with autonomous vehicle software and hardware testing.
Experience with CANoe/CANape
Familiarity with Reliability Concepts or testing for Reliability
