Job Description
Currently seeking a team spirited, motivated Traffic Engineer who thrives on the challenge of diverse projects in a supportive and personal work environment.
Responsibilities will include all aspects of traffic engineering and planning such as but not limited to:
- Traffic operational analysis, traffic concurrency and capacity studies, and preparation of traffic signal warrant analyses/studies.
- Familiarity with transportation modeling and transportation planning software is a plus.
- Extensive coordination with governing agencies and client representation at public hearings as well as neighborhood meetings may also be required.
Qualifications
- Applicants should have a minimum of 1-5 years’ experience in traffic engineering (E.I. with ability to obtain P.E. or current P.E. Certification preferred)
- Must have a degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in civil or transportation engineering.
- Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a self-starter, and have a strong desire to learn and excel under the mentoring of a company partner.
- Candidate should be proficient and have experience with MS Office Suite, HCS , Synchro and/or similar programs.
