Job Description
Seeking a skilled Superintendent to oversee multiple kitchen remodel projects across the Southern US, primarily in Texas. This role involves managing kitchen upgrades in existing retail locations, focusing on the main kitchen island works like tortilla machines and fudge retail areas. The successful candidate will handle 10 sites, working on 2 locations concurrently, each project spanning 5-7 weeks. This position requires travel, with mileage reimbursement and approximately 90% GSA max for per diem on travel days. The role demands a commitment of 40-50 hours per week over approximately 50-60 weeks.
Hard Skills
- OSHA 10 certification
- Procore or CM software experience
- Experience in commercial kitchen or interior commercial construction
Soft Skills
- Ability to manage a schedule and cost-effective plan for project completion
- Skill in collaborating with diverse teams including architects, engineers, and laborers
- Proficiency in monitoring project budgets and communicating variances
- Capability to maintain high standards of safety and quality control
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position. The first project is in Fort Worth, Texas, and then will have additional projects throughout the state of Texas after completion.
Work Environment
The role involves frequent travel with no set home rotations, depending on the project schedule. Work is performed in active commercial environments, requiring coordination with multiple subcontractors and adherence to strict timelines.
