Actalent is seeking a Water Resource Engineer to support a Large Engineering firm Long term!
Description:
This position will mainly serve as an assistant to the Project Manager. This role will work on a variety of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure planning, design, and construction projects. The example ranges of projects include membrane, and UF treatment, system integration, public and private water/wastewater permitting, design and implementation, and process water reuse, designing water distribution and wastewater conveyance system and treatment plants, completing stormwater management studies, preparing permitting applications for various construction projects, etc. You will work with a talented team of professions with sought after experience in design and engineering.
The selected candidate will work in our team-oriented environment, primarily providing public and private sector clients with professional engineering services for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. They will have the opportunity to develop technical expertise in water resources engineering and grow into technical leadership and/or project and client account management. If selected, you will work with technical teams and be expected to provide a diverse range of water resources engineering services which may include:
• Planning (treatment studies, process/hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, permitting and site planning)
• Design (process design, selection, sizing, placement of equipment)
• Construction (bidding, construction administration, inspection services)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• B.S. or M.S/M.Eng. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Engineering-In-Training is a plus
• Candidates must possess excellent organizational, communication, computer and technical writing skills.
• 0-5 years of civil engineering experience required with a focus on water resources.
• Strong AutoCAD and GIS skills preferred willingness to learn required.
