ActionLink connects people with the brands they love! Our team of Merchandising Specialists visit Best Buys, Walmarts, Targets, Lowe’s (just to name a few) to service, build, and maintain promotional displays for our innovative clients such as Microsoft®, Samsung®, Bose®, among many others.
WHEN & WHERE WILL YOU WORK?
- Flexible schedule - around 25 hours per week; may fluctuate a little higher or lower some weeks depending on time of year.
- Weekly assignments can be completed anytime Monday through Thursday typically between stores' opening hours and 5PM.
- Visits are conducted at a variety of retailers within a 40 mile radius of Asheville; including Arden and Waynesville
- BestBuy at 83 S Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC 28805 is the center of the territory radius.
- Must also travel to Arden and Waynesville
PAY:
- This role operates on a 2-tiered pay rate system based on the specific in-store merchandising task being done:
- $14.00/hour for General Merchandising tasks - these are basic/routine visual maintenance assignments such as product stocking/placement, updating signage, auditing, tidying up the display, basic reset change outs, etc.
- $16.00/hour for Merchandising Plus tasks - these are more complex, technically involved assignments such as electronic device set ups/hook-ins, power functionality testing, display troubleshooting, interactive installations, etc.
- Paid training, reporting, and store-to-store drive time
- W2 employment with biweekly pay schedule
- Paid time off
ARE YOU A MATCH?
- Strong detail-orientation to follow sets of written instructions and diagrams
- Ability to work independently and communicate reliably as a remote field employee
- Access to reliable vehicle transportation to cover locations within a 40 mile radius
- Access to internet, basic hand-held tools, and smart device with Wi-Fi/GPS
- Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
