Then ActionLink needs you on our Home Electronics Sales Team!
We are seeking a highly engaging individual to join our sales team on a part-time basis who will thrive on showcasing the latest innovations in consumer electronics. This dedicated specialist will represent our multinational client, Sony®, and their premier line of televisions, home theater, digital imaging, and home audio equipment.
Our Sony Sales Advisors serve as in-store experts, playing a key role in promoting the Sony brand by understanding the needs of customers, answering their questions, comparing against competitors, and offering personalized purchasing advice. Last but not least, this role takes place in the local Military Base Exchange where our Advisors take pride in delivering world-class customer service experiences for our military service members, veterans, and their families.
SCHEDULE & LOCATION:
- 12-14 hours per week
- Fridays and Saturdays (Preferred) or Saturdays and Sundays 10am-5pm (with 30 min lunch)
- Main Exchange at 461 Skymaster Circle in the Travis Air Force Base

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Build strong relationships and rapport with Base Exchange customers and personnel
- Identify customers' needs and recommend appropriate Sony products and accessories
- Proactively engage customers through the sales process, from initial greeting to closing the sale
- Provide trainings to Base Exchange staff on the various Sony products, as requested
- Ensure that products are properly merchandised, displayed, and functional
- Complete same-day online reports to document visits, including providing feedback, observations, and submitting customer and store photos
- Maintain business communication with Area Manager via occasional phone calls, web meetings, and/or emails
ARE YOU A MATCH?
- Security clearance to gain base access is part of the process upon an offer of employment
- Previous sales, retail, and/or relevant customer service experience required
- Demonstrated knowledge and enthusiasm for consumer home electronics
- Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds independently or heavier weight with team lifting
- Access to reliable transportation to commute to local Military Base
- Access to internet and smart device for reporting and training
- Available to work required shifts
