What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Hand position at Active Trailers?
Job Summary: Move trailers around the yard with yard spotter or wheel loader. Unload trailers upon delivery and load trailers for customer delivery. Operate wheel loader, skid steer, telehandler, dozer and other equipment performing miscellaneous yard duties.
Pay: $14.00-$22.00, based on experience and proven ability
Shift: One shift, 8:00am-4:00pm
Essential Competency Requirements:
- CDL ( preferred but not required )
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as: pay loader, forklift, telehandler, etc.
- Maintain yard and keep trailers organized
- Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Physical Demands:
- Ability to climb in and out of equipment
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs. on a regular basis
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
