Your Mission
Activision’s User Research team is looking for a friendly, diligent, full-time Operations Coordinator with a passion for games and talking with people. As an Operations Coordinator, you will work with the User Research team to recruit research participants to come in for a variety of studies on games and other projects conducted at the Activision User Research Center in Sherman Oaks, CA.
Please note: This position is full-time, on-site, with at least one weekend day.
Responsibilities:
- Screen and schedule research participants for upcoming research studies on games and projects via phone screens and e-mail.
- Work directly under the Operations Lead for the User Research team to assure the highest quality of research participants for various research projects.
- Coordinate directly with researchers on the type of participants needed for each study, including sample size, player profiles, and recruiting timelines.
- Assist research staff with creating lists of participants for each study, as well as potentially helping perform intake of participants on scheduled study days.
- Responsibilities may also include being asked to participate and provide feedback on research projects.
- Assist with recruitment drives as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal communication (both written and verbal).
- Must exhibit an ability to vet and fact-check participant answers to background and game experience questions.
- Must have customer service experience—phone experience is a plus.
- Must have a passion for video games and should be well versed in Activision’s titles.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Adaptable and quick learner that enjoys tackling a large variety of problems.
- Familiarity with FPS and console games is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook is a plus.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $38,880.00 - $72,000.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.Salary : $38,880 - $72,000
