JOB DESCRIPTION: Controller

SUMMARY:

Hands-on individual with direct experience in cash flow management, accounting functions, monthly account reconciliations, operations management and financial audits. Responsible for compliance with quality regulations FDA/ISO. Additional responsibilities include HR, payroll processing and overseeing A/R A/P (one staff member). A solution oriented, team player comfortable in a small company environment, dealing with day to day business issues. As a member of the management team, you must create, organize, manage and support strategic initiatives ensuring organizational growth, profitability, compliance, and sustainability. Computer literacy a must.
Sage/MAS system knowledge preferred. Clean background.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Management experience and an Accounting Degree or Equivalent Work Experience is required. College Diploma or higher education preferred
Basic computer literacy necessary, Accomplished with Accounting systems.
Experience in Medical Device manufacturing preferred

Annual Financial Audits

Tax preparation and filing

Accounting

Daily Report
Review A/P -Ensure timely Payments

Supervise the AR/AP bookkeeping position
Manage Cash Flow
Prepare Timely Monthly Financials
Balance Sheet Analysis
Bank Reconciliations
Credit Card
Reconciliations
Maintain Audit Relationships
Support Banking and Insurance Relationships
Budget Preparation and Reporting
Inventory audit
Assist Management Team with Financial Needs
Explore and recommend savings opportunities
Advise the President of all opportunities and threats (Good & Bad)

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Fluent English, (Both verbal & written)

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

Develop knowledge/skill/understanding of Acuderm's Quality Process

ESSENTIAL OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical requirements for this position will include visual, standing, walking, bending, lifting, etc.).

WORK ENVIROMENT:

Climate controlled, low level of noise generated by office machines. Pressure of various departmental demands that need to be prioritized.
