Pay rate: £16.00 per hour (WEEKLY PAY)
Shift Pattern: Need to be flexible - Between 8:00am - 23:00pm - 36 hours on rota & 4 hours office Admin.
Location: Selby
Requirements: Previous experience with learning disability and Autism and a full UK driver’s license.
This role will be working with a young person with learning disability and autism in their family home. He enjoys going to the gym and has an interest in Marvel and Sci-fi, amongst many other interests. We will provide staff on a 2:1 24/7 basis.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with all aspects of daily living and have the ability to help someone build everyday life skills. (Cooking, cleaning, shopping and planning)
- Joining in at the gym and being involved in workouts.
- Helping to plan and organise leisure opportunities such as seeing favourite bands, walking, places of interest etc.
- Watching DVDs with them and joining in with specific interests. (You will need to be willing to learn about these)
- Helping with homework
- Team leader tasks i.e., Rota's, PASS Audits, Admin, Sickness and holiday cover, Working with CCM to organise activities for client etc.

- UK driver’s license
- Previous Autism experience
- Enthusiastic and willingness to learn.
- Female only support workers
- Flexibility as you may be required to go away with the person and their family on short breaks and holidays.
