Premium Auditor

Acuity is seeking an experienced Premium Auditor to review and complete mail and fee company audits to accurately summarize exposures for workers' compensation, general liability, Bis-Pak liability, garage, and commercial auto policies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Serve as the primary company contact for underwriters, agents, and customers regarding premium audit questions and disputes.
• Complete mail audits by reviewing audit worksheets, determining the proper classification(s) and calculating the correct exposure.
• Review premium audits completed by fee companies. Communicate questions and concerns as needed.
• Review and resolve premium audit disputes. Approve audit revisions within authority limits.
• Continue to develop auditing skills by participating in premium audit meetings and educational webinars.
• Plan workload in an efficient, productive way while keeping current with assignments.
• Local travel required for field premium audit job shadow opportunities.
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or direct experience in premium audit
EXPERIENCE:
Three years premium audit related experience. Working knowledge and understanding of workers’ compensation and general liability manual rules.

• General PC knowledge including working with spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel

This position is classified as exempt.
The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $75,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
