Benefits Analyst II, Total Rewards

Who we are looking for:
As a part of the Total Rewards team and reporting to the Manager of Benefits, the Benefits Analyst II is responsible for enterprise-wide administration of ACV’s robust benefit plans including but not limited to; health and welfare, retirement, and wellness. The role of the Benefit Analyst II is to ensure that all benefit plans are administered in compliance with plan documents and regulatory requirements. The Benefits Analyst II will serve as a resource for Teammates, People & Culture team members, Managers, and other departments with whom we partner on questions related to benefits. The incumbent is expected to perform the majority of job responsibilities independently.

What you will do:

• Administration of all US benefit programs; including but not limited to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(k) and voluntary benefit options
• Act as point of contact for Teammate, the People Team, Manager, and other departments with questions pertaining to ACV’s Benefit package.
• Assist with administration of open enrollment processes, including but not limited to; communication with vendors, Teammate communication and training material development, partnering with Business Systems team in system configuration and testing, enrollment audits, etc.
• Assist with audits including but not limited to 401(k) and non-discrimination testing, as needed.
• Partner with ACV’s Business Systems team on system upgrades and issue resolution, reports and vendor file feeds.
• Responsible for managing ACV’s Teammate Perks program, including the development of monthly newsletters, creating program enhancements, and managing relationships with vendors.
• Oversee and maintain relationships with benefits vendors and service providers to ensure that ACV Auctions is receiving optimal service.
• Helps maintain accuracy of ACV’s HRIS system.
• Work with Payroll to resolve benefit system and deduction issues.
• Maintain and interpret plan documents; documents include: Medical files including all health and life insurance documentation; 401(k) information; short-term disability; FMLA; COBRA; HIPAA certificates.
• Provide support and acts as a secondary resource for the administration of ACV’s leave programs including but not limited to STD, FMLA, and state specific leaves.
• Assists with the administration of all Canadian benefit programs; including but not limited to Healthcare, Vision, Life, Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA), and voluntary benefit options.
• Responsible for leading ACV’s wellness program, developing and monitoring the budget, and increasing Teammate engagement.
• Oversee collaboration and lead bi-monthly meetings with ACV Wellness Champions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in benefits program management, benefit administration, including vendor relationships, and process and procurement development.
• Experience managing self-insured health plans and compliance requirements required
• Experience working with multi-country benefits is required.
• Knowledge of state and federal benefit laws and regulations required.
• Demonstrated experience with leave of absence administration, open enrollment, managing projects, compiling analytical data and reports required.
• Experience working with multi-state leave of absence programs is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrable ability to forge effective relationships with internal and external customers.
• Proven ability to manage mutliple projects simultaneously and produce quality deliverables on time.
• Self-starter who thrives in a rapidly growing and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience leading and participating in wellness initiatives
• Experience working with Payroll and Business Systems Teams
