Applications are now being accepted for a full-time, exempt position of IT Network Operations Coordinator in the Administration Division. Starting wage is $72,592 - $83,408 annually, DOQ, plus an excellent benefits package.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of the Information Technology (IT) Manager, the IT Network Operations Coordinator is responsible for implementing and maintaining network components such as servers, switches, routers, cloud infrastructure, user accounts, backup systems, VoIP, datacenter, cybersecurity, and other hardware/software systems.
- The incumbent is responsible for conducting network performance analysis and implementing upgrades or improvements to enhance network performance and efficiency while effectively communicating within the District and other entities.
- The IT Network Operations Coordinator performs supervisory responsibilities and technical guidance in planning, developing, and maintaining data center infrastructure, computer network infrastructure, enterprise software solutions in both on premises and cloud hosted environments.
- The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this classification establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with outside vendors, and other District employees.
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must have considerable knowledge of supervisory principles and practices. The candidate must also possess considerable knowledge of current trends in information technology, computer hardware and software capabilities and limitations;
- Experience in managing Windows Server operations systems is required;
- Experience in Microsoft Azure Active Directory administration and VoIP technologies;
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.
- OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience may be acceptable.
