Job Posting for Library Assistant at Adams Public Library

Primary Responsibilities

  • Completes all tasks related to running the main service desk and the circulation of materials, as well as the children's desk
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Assists computer users with printing, email, word processing, and other technology questions
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency with computers and technology
  • Demonstrable record of customer service experience
  • Ability to work effectively with staff and the public in a professional manner
  • Reliability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Previous library experience
  • College-level coursework
  • Previous work with children or teens

We will be hiring for one 20 hour/week position.

The regular schedule is Mon-Fri, occasional Saturdays may be offered

No phone calls

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
