Job Title: Security Guard

Duties:
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Conduct security checks and inspections to prevent unauthorized access
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities
- Provide assistance to employees, residents and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with security regulations
- Report any incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate authorities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed

Skills:
- First Aid: Possess knowledge of basic first aid techniques and be able to administer first aid when necessary
- Surveillance: Proficient in monitoring surveillance cameras and identifying suspicious behavior or activities
- Loss Prevention: Skilled in implementing loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property
- Military Experience: Prior military experience is preferred but not required
- Law Enforcement Knowledge: Familiarity with law enforcement practices, procedures, and protocols is a plus
- CPR Certification: Hold a valid CPR certification or be willing to obtain one
- CCTV Operation: Ability to operate and navigate closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems effectively
- Conflict Management: Demonstrated ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations calmly and professionally

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
