Quality Assurance Lead

Position Requirements and Duties:
The Quality Assurance Lead will define company best practices for Quality, develop tailored solutions in implement Quality to support proposals, and provide corporate support to multiple active production/ integration program.
Responsibilities include:
• Coordinate, manage, and develop quality assurance activities throughout the product cycle
• Develop and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems
• Define standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting and testing products
• Select, develop, evaluate, and manage Inspection, Quality Planning, and Quality Engineering personnel
• Oversee compliance audits, in-coming product inspections, and supplier monitoring
• Provide quality-related training as needed
• Interpret quality-related requirements, especially related to Quality and Procurement
• Define quality technical requirements for product design, procurement, assembly, and testing
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering teams to incorporate inspection plans into work instructions
• Review technical data to ensure quality requirements are included and identify key characteristics
• Integrate metrics into an oversight strategy
• Collect and analyze program and QA metrics for trends and improvements
• Provide an overview of product and process performance for continuous improvement
• Coordinate monthly, weekly, and ad-hoc reporting to customer and SAIC management
Qualifications:
• US Citizen
• TS Clearance eligibility
• Bachelor's degree in quality, technology, information security, or related field and at least five (5) years of directly related experience in an information security, regulatory, privacy or compliance role or equivalent years of relevant work experience
Desired Qualifications:
• Knowledge of lean and six-sigma quality methodologies to help drive continuous improvement
• Vendor/Supplier audit/oversight experience
• Experience working DoD programs
Required Certifications:
• ASQ Certifications (CQA, CSQE, CQE, and CMQ/OE)
• DoD 8570 Classification IAT-II and CSSP Compliant Certifications
