POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is seeking a supervisor to provide onsite leadership of various technology installation (ISP/Layer I) projects from kickoff to closeout within our ADB Technology division. This is a great opportunity for someone with Lead, Site Management, or other extensive technical and people leadership experience within the technology space. This role will be the direct Supervisor of technicians planning, directing, and organizing their day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive ISP technical experience, a strong belief in the safety and well-being of team members, as well as a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct manager of people including but not limited to, hiring, onboarding, terminations, performance management, compensation, development, etc.
- Oversees the project plans and execution of ISP projects from kickoff to closeout including; material and tool management, production schedule and deployment management, accurate tracking, forecasting and planning, and overall people leadership
- Ability to identify the labor needs of projects including in house team member vs external subcontractor needs and can fulfill those needs timely.
- Proficient ability to create and maintain various project tracking and status update reports
- Has technical and operational knowledge of ISP cable installation practices including equipment used, material needs, labor skills, safety requirements, scheduling, and all technical aspects of quality installations.
- Ability to interpret and communicate project plans, standards, and schedule expectations successfully to
technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and onsite customer contacts - Provides regular coaching and mentorship to technicians contributing to their career growth and development overall
- Supports leadership team in material and tool validation, ordering supplies, equipment, and materials for
- Provides various reports to upper management on project status and outcomes for success.
- A successful leader with the ability to make challenging business decisions, gain people’s following, participate in and drive the company culture, hold others accountable, and manage the outcomes of results.
- Ability to review and understand ISP construction drawings and specifications.
- Upholds safety expectation on site or off site; leads safety meetings and conducts site assessments regularly providing coaching and guidance on any improvement opportunities found.
- Communicates regularly with customers; has presentation and problem-solving skills to be customer centric.
- Partners closely with functional leaders internally; including Human Resource, Recruiting, Fleet, Accounting, Operations, etc.
- Ability to support a fast-paced, demanding work schedule; schedule could include early mornings, evenings, weekends, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position operates out of a temperature-controlled office environment
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones
- Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, climbing, etc.
- May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels while onsite
- When working on site, will be required to wear common protective of safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel toed boots.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- 5 years of previous people and project leadership position within the Layer I/ISP technology industry required
- 2 years of experience performing expert level installations as a Lead, Foreman, Site Manager level required
- Valid driver license with a clean driving record required
- High School diploma or equivalent required
