Flatline Van Co. is currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist. As a team and company, we support a collaborative environment and value open participation from individuals with different ideas, experiences, and perspectives.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following
- Build a rapport with current and future customers.
- Communicating with customers through various channels such as Shopify, Gorgias (CRM), Outlook, Ring Central and more.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails from customers with a friendly, upbeat attitude and great attention to detail.
- Process return(s) documentations, corrections, and replacements accurately.
- Track orders and provide up to date status to customers, when applicable.
- Input new orders into the Company ERP system accordingly and accurately.
- Manage warranty claims, when applicable.
- Work collaboratively with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Learn the software systems used by the company to be able to communicate effectively with incoming inquiries *Previous experience with CRM/ERP software platforms is preferred but not required.
- Maintains a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.
- A strong willingness to work independently to acquire in-depth knowledge of our products.
- Good time management skills and able to prioritize different tasks each day.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong internal and external verbal / written communication skills.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- General knowledge and understanding of the automotive/offroad market, parts, and industry.
- Must be self-motivated, patient, and communicative.
- Strong relationship building skills.
Summary of Experience and Education
- High school Diploma or GED required.
- Some college or the equivalent work experience preferred.
- Experience in Customer service, customer development, and/or business development.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
