What We Are Looking For
We are looking to anchor our growth with a versatile Lead Product Owner. You will own the current product line and guide its continued revenue growth as you install a Scrum discipline. You will also own a new product with a 2 year horizon.
Ideally, you are well versed in the adtech and martech space. You regularly use 3 or more of these terms in a sentence without skipping a beat: CDP, DMP, DSP, SSP, RTP, ad exchange, ad network, retargeting, CPM, CPC, CPA.
You are comfortable with all manner of stakeholder such as executives, investors, customers, and internal staff including client success and sales.
You are at home building product roadmaps, writing stories, grooming backlogs, running showcases and all aspects of Scrum as you keep everyone in the company involved and informed in the product rollout.
What You Will Do
Work directly with the CTO in all things product
Build relationships with all stakeholders to author a product roadmap
Advocate our data assets as an internal product that drives client-facing products
Stay atop industry trends to co-lead product discovery and innovation
Embody the enthusiasm of our mission and product potential
Serve as product expert to sales, client success and business development
Keep client-facing teams informed on product progress, risks, and key decisions
Support the evolution of a microservices architecture for layered product features
Convert a Kanban variant to Scrum, serving as a mentor in process excellence
Lead the Scrum cadence such as sprint planning, showcases, and retrospectives
Lead the continuous improvement of both product and process
Pair with QA to approve product increments for release into production
What You Need
5 years as a Product Owner for a data-centric SaaS or similar delivery model
Experience working directly with a team size of 5-10 software engineers to refine ambiguity into stories, estimate, and track progress
History of subject matter mastery
Skilled at leading through negotiation, collaboration, and influence
Strong opinions on tooling and process
Fearless attitude towards making us better
Subject matter expertise in adtech, martech or fintech
Experience in a startup
Experience in fully remote company
