Requirements:
- Active License in DE
- Have experience in medical/nursing services in a Veterans Home setting, long-term care facility, or similar setting
- Have knowledge of VA, Medicaid, and Medicare regulations and guidelines
- Meet federal and state eligibility requirements to participate in VA, Medicaid, and Medicare
Responsibilities:
- Performing comprehensive physical examinations and preventive health measures,
- Prescribing appropriate forms of treatment
- Providing education and counseling
- Planning and instituting health care programs
- Advising members of the interdisciplinary team on matters relating to nursing/medical services and healthcare
- Identifying health care problems and developing and implementing appropriate interventions
- Ordering and evaluating laboratory tests to identify and assess problems or health care needs
