Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Shipping Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating shipping activities in our warehouse. The Warehouse Shipping Lead should have extensive experience operating reach and forklift clamp equipment, ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods within the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Shipping Coordination:
- Lead and coordinate daily shipping activities to meet production and customer demands.
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, and loading of products for timely shipments.
- Equipment Operation:
- Proficiently operate reach, forklift, and forklift clamp equipment.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
- Team Supervision:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the shipping team.
- Schedule and allocate tasks to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Collaborate with other departments to reconcile discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control standards for outbound shipments.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with shipping procedures.
- Safety Compliance:
- Uphold and enforce safety protocols in all shipping activities.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions for the shipping team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Shipping Lead or similar role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating reach, forklift, and forklift clamp equipment.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in a warehouse setting.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
