Job Description
As an in-house lawyer, you’ll work closely with other members of the legal team at Adevinta.
Key responsibilities:
- Support on all corporate and secretarial matters of the Group for various jurisdictions
- Review and prepare corporate legal documents such as: Powers of Attorney, appointment and resignation of directors, capital increases, incorporations, distribution of dividends, liquidations and other company restructuring processes
- Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation, specifically laws, rules and regulations that directly affect our business and specific sector
- Follow-up on all legal disputes in the Group
- Draft and review intercompany agreements
- Support in managing different legal queries of the Group companies
Qualifications
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law with a Master’s in International Business Law would be appreciated
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a private practice or as an in-house lawyer in a multinational company
- Strong knowledge of Corporate and Commercial Law
- Proactive with an ability to work independently
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate legal issues and risks in terms that non-legal colleagues can understand
- Reliable with an ability to prioritise tasks and a hands-on mentality
- Fluent in English
