Job Description

As an in-house lawyer, you’ll work closely with other members of the legal team at Adevinta.
 

Key responsibilities:

  • Support on all corporate and secretarial matters of the Group for various jurisdictions
  • Review and prepare corporate legal documents such as: Powers of Attorney, appointment and resignation of directors, capital increases, incorporations, distribution of dividends, liquidations and other company restructuring processes
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation, specifically laws, rules and regulations that directly affect our business and specific sector
  • Follow-up on all legal disputes in the Group
  • Draft and review intercompany agreements
  • Support in managing different legal queries of the Group companies

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law with a Master’s in International Business Law would be appreciated
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a private practice or as an in-house lawyer in a multinational company 
  • Strong knowledge of Corporate and Commercial Law
  • Proactive with an ability to work independently 
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate legal issues and risks in terms that non-legal colleagues can understand
  • Reliable with an ability to prioritise tasks and a hands-on mentality
  • Fluent in English
