Site Project Manager
The Site Project Manager will be a member of our construction team. Under the responsibility of the Construction General Manager, the Site Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing a specific project or a wide range of different construction projects from beginning to end. Tasks
- Participate to the project KICK-OFF Meeting and review and understand the project’s requirements.
- Participate to the development of the procedures and methods, establishing the subcontracting needs and/or additional specific project’s instructions that will be required for ensuring adequate erection progress, safety and conformity of the work.
- Plan and schedule operations of the site work using the WEEKLY SCHEDULE in collaboration of the Construction Manager and the Site Superintendent. Ensure that the WEEKLY SCHEDULE is kept updated.
- Monitor the progression of the works and review the PROGRESS REPORT.
- Ensure that the FIELD REPORT is completed each day.
- Ensure that all erection drawing are the controlled and verified and that obsolete copies are retrieved.
- When revised erection drawing is received, check the scope of the changes to verify if these affect the works in progress and initiate appropriate actions.
- Ensure that the distribution of the documentation and drawings is controlled using the SITE DISTRIBUTION LIST.
- Receive, review any request of changes received from the customer concerning installation with the Project Manager.
- Ensure that pertinent documents are used on-site by periodic monitoring and verify their compliance with the latest revision of the digitalized document.
- Ensure that the PROJECT ERECTION PLAN is available and continuously kept up-dated on-site.
- Coordinate the purchasing sub-services, if any (i.e. fabrication, galvanizing, coating, etc.)
- Ensure that the purchased products, material and services comply with the purchasing documents (and as well as the project’s requirements) and that all conformity documentation is received and kept in the project files.
- Review and treat the customer’s deficiencies report in collaboration of the QA/QC Manager and the superintendent.
- Participate to the analysis of training needs and to the development of training program. Perform training session to personnel, when required. Ensure that all training records and the PERSONNEL QUALIFICATION LOG is kept updated.
- Other related tasks and duties as assigned.

- Ensure that the quality system and specific project documents are made available so that they are readily accessible to all responsible personnel.
- Responsible for keeping the erection and progress records during construction.
- Supervise and oversee the site coordination/administrative team of the site.
- Ensure customers’ needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Keep ADF Group’s Project Manager and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations.
