We are a multi-division family business located in Easthampton, Massachusetts that engage in the manufacture and distribution of various products and serve different industries worldwide: We are looking for a Junior Accountant with an analytical mind and strong organizational skills. In this position, the candidate will be expected to be detail orientated, have strong problem-solving skills, and be able to work comfortably under pressure to deliver on tight deadlines.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Know how to do bank reconciliation;
Familiar with fixed assets;
Process petty cash reconciliation;
Complete credit applications;
AP and AR (cash) data entry;
Familiar with Sales & Use Tax;
Expense report reconciliations;
Keep up on AP vendor accounts (W-9’s and changes);
Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries;
Accurately perform reconciliations of cash, check and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices;
Assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation.
Experience and/or Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Account or CPA desirable.
Diploma in related field or at least two year of demonstrated experience as an AP or AR clerk/bookkeeper.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
