What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk/Inventory Control position at ADIENT INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED?
Working onsite at client site within the tool crib. Customer service to assist those employees with their needs. Receiving new materials, sorting and straightening shelves. Stocking a vending machine. Clean environment where candidate is working however the facility can be loud and dirty.
Must haves:
- Work in a semi unsupervised capacity.
- 6 months recent warehouse experience
- Computer experience, email, Excel,and any inventory system similar to SAP- nice to have but hoping a quick learner
Qualifications:
- A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
- Manual lifting up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities:
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
- Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
- Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
- Cycle counting inventory
Job Type: Contract
