Title- Executive Assistant
Location: Basking Ridge NJ (Hybrid)
Contract: 6 months (with possible extension)
Targeted Years of Experience: 0-3 years
You’ll ensure that all is running efficiently for the executives in your group. You’ll be answering calls, greeting guests, planning travel, scheduling appointments, handling travel expenses, and essentially looking after the day-to-day operations in the office. Your role is essential to building an environment where everyone can do their best work.
Verizon’s Vice President, Corporate Systems Group, Enterprise Experience is seeking an organized, analytical, and driven Executive Assistant to support both the day-to-day calendar, travel, and logistical needs of their office and to contribute to their successful operation of the Enterprise Experience team.
In this role, you will:
• Directly support Verizon’s VP, Enterprise Experience in day-to-day execution, but with long term considerations in mind.
• Manage the executive calendar with an eye for seeing around corners and anticipating issues, while maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality across all areas of work.
• Partner with the VP on time management and a structured, but flexible calendar.
• Coordinate meetings and prepare agendas with direction from both the VP and their directors, while contributing opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage contacts across partners and act as an additional point of contact for VP’s office.
• Proactively bring together the appropriate people and resources to support the VP in both foreseen and unforeseen capacities.
• Manage travel arrangements and coordinate planning across various internal functions.
• Process and maintain expense reports.
• Assist overall Enterprise Experience team on project administration as needed.
• Understand organizational policies and procedures as necessary to ensure appropriate protocols are followed
• Screen and prioritize communications, both external and internal.
• Scheduling and arrange meetings and appointments.
• Find new ways to increase office efficiency and innovative ways to support the team.
• Answer calls and greet visitors.
• Assist location leaders in the Basking Ridge Hub with events to encourage employee engagement.
• Work with facilities and global real estate to resolve any issues with meeting room logistics including audio/video support for team meetings and town halls.

What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
• Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.
• Administrative experience supporting senior-level executives.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Experience with Google products.
• Demonstrated ability to stay organized, meet deadlines and work independently.
• Experience and demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external parties.
