Within this nationally recognized program, many of the graduates have gone on to leadership positions in healthcare and industry, as decision makers and problem solvers for corporate and municipal institutions. The teaching position candidate will generally accept responsibility for one course within their area of expertise, taking ownership of all aspects of developing and teaching lectures, interactive small group sessions and workshops, and overseeing projects. Opportunities for mentoring are encouraged mentoring.

Required Credentials and Experience:

Applicants must have an advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or an equivalent degree, preferably in a health-related field, with either research or management experience within biopharmaceutical or medical device fields).  A record of professional leadership, teaching excellence and academic experience is also preferred. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.  Qualified individuals are requested to apply online at https://usccareers.usc.edu.  Applicants should electronically submit a current curriculum vitae, personal statement, previous teaching evaluations and the names and contact information of three references. A competitive salary is offered, but the number of hours does not meet the requirements for the offering of benefits.

The University of Southern California is actively committed to equal opportunity, and diversity and inclusion within its faculty hiring practices; so qualified candidates from underrepresented minorities are encouraged to apply.
