Position : Welder / Fabricator
Location : Londonderry, New Hampshire
Work Schedule : Full-time, 1st shift, M-F schedule with every other Friday off! We are currently working our 9 / 80 summer schedule!
For six months of the year (spring / summer), the department operates on a 9 / 80 work schedule (a two-workweek schedule of eight 9-hour days, one 8-hour day, and one day off) and the remainder of the year the regular work schedule is 7 : 00AM to 4 : 30PM Monday through Friday.

We're in search of a Welder / Fabricator to join our team!
The Welder / Fabricator plays a critical role in the production of large, industrial mixing equipment. This position requires a skilled professional who is proficient in cutting, prepping, grinding, and welding stainless steel materials.
The Welder / fabricator will interpret complex blueprints and drawings to cut, machine, bend, and TIG weld metals to precise specifications, ensuring the highest quality and accuracy.
The ideal candidate is a problem solver, capable of multi-tasking and maintaining a high focus on quality throughout the fabrication process.
This role demands a strong ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a dynamic team.
Working primarily with steel materials, the Welder / Fabricator must demonstrate initiative, craftsmanship, and the ability to deliver top-tier results in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Welder / Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities :
- Maintains a clean and safe work area and complies with the company's safety requirements while meeting time estimates as assigned to each job
- Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job
- Repairs and fabricates various items and equipment using cutting, heating, and welding techniques and equipment
- Monitors the welding, heating, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage
- Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded
- Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area
- Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered
- Practice 6S principles daily
- Complete all applicable documentation for current operations
- Machining and weld prepping of raw materials
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Welder / Fabricator Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Thorough understanding of machines and tools used in welding including designs, uses, maintenance and repair
- Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, drawings, and tools necessary for the precise production of technical plans, drawings, models, and blueprints
- Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms
- Basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to weld components that are vertical, horizonal, or overhead
- Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work
- Must be able to see details at close range
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with colleagues and co-workers, with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a supportive diverse team environment
Welder / Fabricator Credentials and Experience :
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship OR successful completion of an in-company, three-year training program required or;
- 5 years welding fabrication experience
