JOB TITLE: Marketing Associate

SALARY: 50k-60k per year
SUMMARY: BTG is seeking to hire a Marketing Associate to join the corporate operations team. You will collaborate and develop creative marketing strategies and content for the organization’s focus areas, including software and consulting focuses. Support, review and create marketing and communications policies and procedures. You will also be assisting our internal IT/development team with launch efforts and help promote a company culture that encourages creative thought and measurable marketing performance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide and implement marketing strategies for events, collateral, and overall visibility efforts for the organization.
- Manage, create, and collaborate on website updates, email marketing campaigns, e- newsletters, and white-papers
- Collaborate on social media marketing and content creation, planning, and strategy.
- Gather and analyze audience behavior data in digital channels
- Create and improve marketing campaigns with measurable outcomes
- Knowledge of web design principles, best practices and content management platforms
- Help promote a company culture that encourages technology, forward-thinking, and collaboration.
- Work with senior stakeholders.
- Report to and with the Director of Operations to develop marketing plans, calendars and content for increased visibility and marketing performance/outcomes
- Identify and address marketing challenges and opportunities.
- Support all marketing communication external and internal
WRITING ASSIGNMENT:
- Please submit a sample of an integrated marketing campaign, along with three social media posts from candidate marketing portfolio, and an email marketing message. Resumes submitted without this component will not be considered
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or 5 -7 years related field.
- Proven experience in Marketing, Content Creation, and social media marketing
- Understanding of general marketing, digital marketing, SEO, audience development, content creation, sales pages and other marketing-adjacent topics
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate across departments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Solid understanding of marketing technology applications
- A flexible approach to working (able to adapt to different tasks quickly).
- Experience using MS O365 and other tools for efficiency
- Experience using Canva, Constant Contact, Hootsuite, Buffer, Eventbrite and other marketing technologies
- Thorough knowledge of field of expertise and willingness to keep abreast of advancements.
