Job Title: Stock Associate
Department: Production/Logistics Division
Reports to: Supervisor
Summary
Responsible for staging pallets in correct areas. Responsible for making sure pallet flags are created and placed on correct pallet for SCF destinations to be ready for shipping. Loading trailers with pallets to fill trailer based on weight/pieces. Checking emails and responding to any questions that may be asked by logistic vendors and Access Direct staff. Assist production with putting together pallets and wrap pallets. MUST Be able to drive a power jack and a sit down Forklift.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Organizing logistics outbound work floor space.
· Organizing pallets that are wrapped and stage for loading of trailers.
· Identify pallet destinations and create pallet flags.
· Attach pallet flags to correct destination skids.
· Organize pallets and get ready for loading of trailers that will be dispatched.
· Request appointment numbers via email to assign trailers.
· Being able to drive a power jack and Forklift.
· Being able to load and unload trucks.
· Filling out BOL’s for the drivers picking up trailers and dispatching.
· Check yard for trailer availability and supplies.
· Checking and writing emails for vendor communication.
· Create report for every mailing for billing.
· Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and be able to bend constantly.
· Performs other duties as described by supervisor.
General Responsibilities
Also responsible for keeping logistics work area clean and organized at all times, removing mail trays, pallets, plastic, etc. from the logistics work area accordance with all safety instructions. Report any safety issues to supervisor. Perform any other duties that may be required from time to time assigned by Access Sort Management.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must be able to follow instructions. Must be self- motivated and possess a strong sense of urgency. Must understand the use of sorting equipment such as Forklift, power jack, hand jack, barcode hand scanners, scales. Must possess a thorough knowledge of Company policies, personnel procedures, job-processing procedures, job-related documentation, quality assurance procedures and production standards. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience
Minimum High School or equivalent education required. Computer knowledge required.
Language
The ability to read, write and understand job instructions, correspondence, reports and memos in English.
Experience and Requirements
Will train - Industry experience a plus.
