The Revenue Accountant will be responsible for recording various financial transactions of the company while assisting in the day-to-day activities in the Accounting department such as financial analysis, month-end close, and reporting. Duties and Responsibilities Revenue recognition related transactions, analysis, and reporting. Prepare and perform variance analysis on various balance sheet and income statement accounts. Perform and review Sarbanes Oxley controls related to areas of responsibility with focus on deferred revenues, contract assets, and revenue related liability accounts. Review, investigate, and answer questions regarding from sales, operations, pricing, and legal related to revenue recognition and financial arrangements with customers. Contract reviews and documentation to support revenue recognition treatment and assertions. Flexible knowledge and willingness to support multiple Accounting areas (general ledger, revenue, cost, fixed assets) with common business tasks. Exhibit US GAAP technical knowledge in performing accounting duties and ability to research complex accounting arrangements. Ability to understand and map end-to-end accounting cycles. Other projects and assignments may be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the Company. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or related Business field) required. 5 years of Accounting experience required. Experience preparing financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and management analyses required. Working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley controls required. Advanced Microsoft skills including, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Advanced understanding of accounting processes and principles required. Strong attention to detail and time management skills required. High level of personal ownership and flexibility expected. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) required. Positive attitude and excellent team player who can meet deadlines. High speed internet and connectivity capabilities to facilitate remote or hybrid schedule. Occasional minimal travel. Preferred Qualifications Revenue and SaaS ASC 606 experience is preferred. SAP or BAAN experience is highly desired. IFRS knowledge is a plus.
