ADUSA Procurement, a partner company to Retail Business Services, provides supply chain services that enable end-to-end optimization and visibility, balancing service and cost with collaboration and supporting the delivery of product from a supplier to the warehouse. Like Retail Business Services, ADUSA Procurement provides services to five omnichannel grocery brands, including Food Lion, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford and Stop & Shop.
Position Summary:
Insights analysts will be assigned key metrics and processes related to demand, logistics, procurement, and other Supply Chain functions for the entire business. Responsibility to provide supporting data identifying trends to aid the business in achieving strategic goals and key KPI’s.
Provide high level analytics related to specific areas of Supply Chain to identify opportunities for business leads to address. Support Insights Manager on key reporting and team leadership to continue to adapt to the needs of the business. High level knowledge and ability to identify key trends in large data sets. This analyst will work across legacy companies and categories, supporting cross-functional business groups. Lead development of department best practices and communication method to rest of business. This associate will regularly interact with stakeholders at the associate and manager level to provide business insights in support of 30 Supply Chain PODs and central teams.
This analyst will hold a senior level role within the insights team. Additional responsibilities include owning the relationship with other functional roles and the socialization of reporting for assigned areas of expertise. The associate will be responsible for developing training and business processes to support familiarizing the rest of the Supply Chain organization with the insights and usage of data.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze data metrics to identify key trends impacting categories and vendors across the ADUSA Supply Chain network
Influence to drive change in functional roles utilizing data to story-tell and identify issues
Lead development of department best-practices and deliver business insights and change management
Lead multiple initiatives at once and collaborate across various goals, supporting all Brands
Understand and identify key metrics that drive downstream impacts to core business KPIs (e.g., service level, vendor on-time etc.)
Understand the structure of the organization and the flow of information across categories, departments, and brands
Develop training for report usage with the audience of functional business users across Supply Chain
Foster relationship between insights team and functional roles within the Supply Chain organization
Interact with Supply Chain associates and leadership within 30 Supply Chain PODs and central teams regularly
Support execution and delivery of insight requests from Supply Chain leadership, including content and communications for senior executive level leadership
Knowledge:
PowerBI
Microsoft Office
Intermediate Microsoft Excel
IRI Gateway (Supply Chain Module)
Strong understanding of cause and effect within the Grocery industry
Strong understanding of key Supply Chain processes, procedures, and policies

Education:
Bachelor's in business, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or related field and similar work experience
Experience:
3-4 years' relevant experience
Understanding and knowledge in multiple Supply Chain areas (Logistics, Unsaleables, In Stock, Forecasting, Control Tower, VIC), Category Management and Retail Operations
Operations knowledge from functional Supply Chain role preferred
