Sales Associate

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, generating sales, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires a passion for retail and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Manage cash register operations, including handling cash and credit transactions, processing returns, and counting change.
• Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
• Utilize basic math skills to handle sales and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services offered by the store, including prices, promotions, and product features.
• Engage in retail sales techniques to promote products and drive sales growth.
• Perform visual merchandising tasks, such as setting up displays and replenishing stock.
• Participate in inventory management, including receiving and stocking shipments, and conducting regular inventory counts.
• Supervise and assist other sales associates as needed.
• Provide support for store events, promotions, and special orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockrooms, and customer service areas.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a retail environment, preferably in a grocery store setting.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math skills and experience with cash handling and sales transactions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
