Schedule: Monday- Friday
· 2nd shift: 3:45pm – 1:30am (8 hours with a 30 min lunch break)
· Flexibility to work some weekends due to business need
· Overtime available with approval based on business need
What you’ll do:
This position requires testing of raw materials and finish goods on a daily basis and frequently in a high-volume environment. Interacts with other lab technicians, engineers, and manufacturing personnel frequently while testing raw materials, finish products, R & D projects, etc.
Every day, you can expect to:
· Perform raw material tests and finish product tests with provided lab equipment
· Report test results to central lab facility, as well as inputting the information in a tracking system
· Perform basic maintenance on lab equipment
· Research and re-test as needed any material with a facility complaints and report findings swiftly
· Perform gage calibrations
Test competitor samples and provide report
· Prepare raw material and finish products for testing
· Assist in developing and writing lab and quality control procedures
· Present findings and quality in group setting to corporate leaders
· Most assignments are standardized, and minimal supervision is required
· Maintain clean work area
· Other job duties as assigned by supervisor

· Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)

· Willing to travel as required
Preferred Experience:
· 2 years Quality inspection, plastics processing is a plus!
· Leadership experience is a plus
Physical Requirements:
· Able to lift 50 lbs consistently
