Tomball Rehab and Nursing is excited to announce they're currently hiring compassionate Nurse Aide Trainee's to help provide support to their amazing residents. This is a great paid training opportunity for anyone who would like to become a Certified Nursing Assistant!!
***Candidate must be available between 1PM-9PM***
Guaranteed employment once paid training is completed! Start as a Hospitality Aide in our facility and get paid to train to become a CNA.
Duties/Training Includes:
Provide assistance with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care) according to the plan of care
Pass ice, water, linens, etc.
Mark and pass supplies, make beds, and help serve plates and drinks to residents at meal times
Assist residents with smoking
Transport residents to and from activities as well as conduct one-on-one activities with residents.
Assist in various cleaning tasks including but not limited to; emptying linen/trash bins, cleaning wheelchairs, or other housekeeping duties.
Observe and report any changes in resident’s health status to the Charge Nurse on an ongoing basis.
Report to supervisor at the beginning and ending of each shift
Attend all in-service education programs required of nursing assistants
Report to supervisor immediately when observing any unusual or significant change(s) in residents’ physical or behavioral condition.
Document all care given and observations made while giving care
Other duties as required/requested.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to follow oral directions
Pleasant, tactful and courteous
Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks
