Logistics Coordinator / Dispatcher
Fast growing logistics company seeking talented individual for a Logistics Coordinator position in the Piedmont Triad area. Ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of dispatch experience in the area of OTR trucking. Position requires strong skills in the area of computer literacy, multi-tasking and tactical decision making and must have a high energy level with the ability to work in a fast-paced operations environment. We offer competitive compensation, "Incentive Plan" and 401k.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to quote LTL and TL shipments
- Manage and control movement of goods utilizing various modes of transportation including truck, courier, consolidation, etc. utilizing the most cost-effective techniques
- Ability to prepare, distribute and maintain all documents involved with the movement of goods domestically.
- Ability to exercise strong judgement in handling problems associated with the operation and administration of a full service transportation company.
- Driver training, dispatch and supervision
- Must be able to work in direct coordination with the warehouse and prioritize outbound customer specific shipments.
