CASE ADMINISTRATOR POSITION
We are looking for a well organized, driven, charismatic person to join our growing team. This administrative position will work closely with our case manager and administrative staff to handle day-to-day administrative functions. The ideal candidate for this job is dependable, resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. You must eager to learn and help out when necessary. Everyday is a team effort, but it’s also incredibly rewarding.
Salary Range: $35,000 to $42,500 based on experience
Position details:
- All basic administrative support for head Case Manager and panelists; this support includes, but is not limited to, re-scheduling and coordinating hearings and/or conference calls, A/R calls, and pre-hearing preparation calls to ensure all client needs are met
- Regularly meet and communicate with head Case Manager to discuss case issues (pertinent information and potential problems)
- Serves as Case Manager apprentice; competent to cover a Case Manager’s desk in their absence; Case Administrator is responsible for developing overall case management skills, enhancing the client experience and supporting the client, panelists and the head Case Manager before, during and after a case is heard
- Must be able to articulate, understand, support and perform in accordance with all ARM policies and procedures; basic proficiency in all ADR processes and procedures (arbitration, mediation, court reference, etc.); knowledge of panelists’ practice preferences
- Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate
- Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment, including computers and copy machines
- Help to maintain office supplies by checking inventory levels, ordering supplies and restocking
- Respond to questions and requests for information from clients and neutrals
Requirements:
- Must be able to function in a busy office environment, and interact with attorneys and Judges in a professional manner
- Must have some familiarity with Macintosh, Word, Excel or the Mac equivalent.
- Experience with using databases is a plus.
- Punctuality & dependability are a must
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy of details

- A four-year degree is not mandatory, but highly recommended
- In lieu of education, 3-5 years work experience in administration; legal experience and client service experience, a plus
