Responsibilities may include the following:
- Assist with Scrum development projects; including Planning Sessions, Stand-Up Sessions, Review Sessions, Backlog Grooming Sessions, Pointing Sessions, and Retrospective Sessions, as directed by the Department.
- Modify, create, and test application code and database code for identified stories on a three-week cycle, with a zero-defect rate, as directed by the Department.
- Document application modifications and additions daily as coding tasks are assigned by the Department and stored in a document repository.
- Plays a leading role in projects including programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation, and administration of the applications
- May coordinate relationships with outside vendors in developing tests to ensure feature functionality
- Recommends system improvements, monitors design progress, and prepares design project reports
- Develop extensible enterprise software using cutting-edge technology
- Participate in project-focused Scrum rituals (standup, grooming, planning, retrospective)
- Work with Architects, Developers, and business clients to collaborate and build industry-leading software
- Develop and design user interface components, web services, and database interactions
- Promote best practices and patterns in software development
- Promote user interface guidelines and standards
- Research and assess new technologies
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience developing web-based applications in C# .Net;
- 5 years of experience with Visual Studio;
- 5 years of experience writing, reading, and interpreting technical specifications, test cases, and application requirements;
- 5 years of experience with Object Oriented analysis, design, and best practices;
- 3 years of experience with Azure DevOps;
- 3 years of experience with HTML;
- 3 years of experience with MVC;
- 3 years of experience with AngularJS, Javascript/JQuery;
- 3 years of experience with SQL Server development, including tables, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views;
- 3 years of experience with IT security standards regarding application hardening and data encryption;
- 3 years of experience with Integrations using REST web services, including JSON and XML data transport;
- 3 years of experience with IIS environment for clients and servers;
- 3 years of experience with SSRS;
- 2 years of experience with web accessibility standards;
- 2 years of experience with Azure cloud services, including build and release, Azure SQL, triggers, pipelines, and configuration;
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with FLAIR (Florida Accounting Information Resource) data and reports;
- 2 years of experience with collection, calculation, and analysis of data related to FEMA claims;
- 2 years of experience with analysis of People First data for service costing;
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field;
or
Relevant equivalent work experience above the minimum required
