Job Title: Event Planner
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead Planner for supporting the CCoE and G-3/5 planned annual events and recurring major events.
- Coordinate with the CCoE Public Affairs, Protocol, and Commanders Planning Group (CPG) for Command level events – to include but not limited to Cyber Quest, NATO Summit, TechNet, Future Battlefield Assessment (FBAT), Agreed to Actions (ATAs), Hail and Farewells, Awards, FERVs, etc.
- Responsible for the planning, coordination, synchronization, and prioritization of activities that facilitate Signal | Cyber| Electronic Warfare training in accordance with command's mission, goals, and objectives.
- Establish and facilitate planning, in-progress reviews, and ad-hoc meetings with higher headquarters, CCoE staff, and major subordinate organizations designated lead.
- Coordinate with CPG/Protocol and remain aware of events, attendance, seating, booking venues, agenda, and speakers.
- Organize programs, documents for distribution, audio-visual needs, transportation, meals, tours, translation services and accommodations as required.
- Manage and coordinate logistics, invitations, clearance screening, catering, DV travel coordination, and AV/IT/graphics support for on and off-site facilities.
- Coordinate event presentations, note taking, and after-action report writing.
- Document best practices and practical guidance in an Event Planning Guide for on-going use by the CCoE and Staff.
- Responsible for the planning, coordination, synchronization, and prioritization of activities that facilitate signal, cyber, and EW training in accordance with command's mission, goals, and objectives.
- Establishes and facilitates planning boards, in progress reviews, and ad-hoc meetings with higher headquarters, CCoE staff, and major subordinate organizations designated lead.
- Responsible for managing all HQDA, TRADOC, and Combined Arms Center tasking requirements, to include Worldwide Individual Augmentation System taskings, foreign visits, and FOIA/PA requests.
Qualifications:
- Prior military, Intermediate Level Education (ILE) Graduate, with Joint Operations and Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) experience or Sergeant Major Course Graduate.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, tourism, social science, or international relations, or related field is preferred, but years of experience can be used in lieu of a specific degree.
- Preferred five (3) years’ experience in event planning where events range from 2 to 200 attendees to include best practices in planning, management, and coordination; risk management; financial, legal, and ethical safeguards; catering; and meeting and conference planning.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Must be self-directed and detail oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to include use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Physical Demands:
- Stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time while delivering training.
- Be able to maneuver in and out of strategic and tactical equipment, and capable of lifting and moving electronic equipment more than 40lbs.

Travel: Minimal travel for corporate support is expected for this position.
