Warehouse Associate with Class B License

Advanced Turf Solutions is growing! We are seeking a Warehouse Associate with a Class B License to join our team in Louisville, KY. ATS is a green Industry Distributor offering turf and ornamental fertilizer, chemicals, grass seed, sports turf products, ice melt and accessories to the golf, lawn care, landscape and athletic fields.

POSITION SUMMARY

There are 2 primary responsibilities in this position, #1. Drive safely and effectively and #2. When not on the road they hold the same responsibilities as a warehouse associate.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver Orders on time to Customers. Customer signature and if not available, document with driver initials and time stamp.

• Check all orders for correct quantity and all items for accuracy to be delivered

• Responsible for loading and strapping down all items

• Assist with Picking orders and checking them for accuracy

• Help to keep the warehouse clean and safe

• Communication with customers as needed

• Complete Daily DVIR through Samsara application / Maintain electronic log if applicable

• Maintain Upkeep of the truck daily – cleaning and scheduled maintenance

• Assisting with the loading of customer orders

• Conduct delivery of transfers as needed

• Assist in stocking, organization, and cleanliness of warehouse

• Customer Service both on the road and on property

• Unloading and loading product as needed

• Responsible for fuel and mileage reporting

• Responsible for maintaining and keeping current valid CDL license and medical card

• Complete SMS Training / OHSA Training as required

• Frequently use technology / must monitor and check email daily

• Employee must be in provided uniform daily

• Must be dependable, self-motivated and have a strong work ethic

• Must be able to read and write daily correspondence / Use Google email

• Must be able to interact daily with customers

• Must be able to use Abacus for corporate expenses

• Ability to work in inclement weather loading and unloading product from truck(s)

• Ability to work extended hours if needed

• Must be able to operate truck mounted forklift

• Multi-tasking

QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Minimum Class B CDL Driver’s license

• Valid medical exam and clean driving record

• Forklift Certification

• Understanding of DOT laws
