Job Description
Prestigious law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a strong litigation secretary with at least 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have experience creating TOC/TOA's, calendaring and State and Federal Court filing. Candidates should be able to take initiatives and possess strong writing skills.
The litigation secretary provides support to attorneys and paralegals resulting in a high level of client service, document processing and editing, managing travel arrangements, processing new business intake, preparing and submitting attorney expenses, inputting attorney time entries, arranging meetings and conferences, coordinating calendars, maintaining and updating client files and other tasks.
Proficiency in Word (including Styles), Excel and PowerPoint is mandatory. Familiarity with a document management system (iManage, PC Docs, etc.) is essential, and candidates should also be familiar with Outlook, Legal Solutions, and DTE. Qualified candidates will be able to type a minimum of 60 WPM and have experience maintaining a busy calendar.
