Owners Representative Construction Management/Mechanical - Knoxville IA

Advantage Point Group, Inc. is looking for an Owners Representative Construction Management/Mechanical for a position at an industrial plant in Knoxville, IA.

Activities/ Responsibilities/ Duties

Candidates’ job would be to oversee contractor’s performing work in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the Owner. The plant is under continuous improvement and change with multiple projects in progress thru-out each year.

The primary need is mechanical and construction safety, as there will be significant demolition work in a coating building with other lines operating during the demolition work and erection of a new structural steel platform with steel decking.

Candidate will NOT be the individual(s) performing the maintenance and physical labor.

Requirements

• 12 years previous experience in Industrial/Heavy Commercial work.
• Industrial machines, HVAC, Piping & Civil preferred, not required
• Maintenance background preferred, not required
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft office package, Word, Excel, e-mail etc.)
• Ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment.
• Training in Confined Space, OSHA 30 preferred, not required

The current project schedule includes a night shift coverage for the period October 21 through November 15, 2022.

A portion of the project will require 24 hour 7 day coverage; we expect the day shift will be working through weekends as well.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Rate: $44-$52/hour depending upon previous experience and qualifications. A typical work week is 45 hours per week. Some overtime is likely depending on project type, size and completion. Eligible for per diem if not a local candidate.
