Quality Manager:
Our cutting-edge client is seeking a Quality Manager. The proper candidate will direct a small team (2 Engineers and 6 Inspectors) and have a background in Quality Engineering. The proper candidate should be familiar with ISO Certifications and audits. The proper candidate should have 10 years' experience in Quality Engineering/Management from a Manufacturing background. The Quality Manager will provide oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established standards and agency guidelines. Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assure compliance. Works directly with operating entities to provide process analyses oversight on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet guidelines. Leads audit and inspection preparation, resolution of audit and inspection findings and liaises with auditing groups and inspectors through all stages of the audits. Ensures the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly.
Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate mission assurance activities including manufacturing quality and configuration, data management and supply chain quality in support of CPS’s product portfolio.
Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality policies, and procedures to ensure all related products and services are delivered to the customer on schedule, at minimum cost, and fully compliant to all contractual requirements.
Responsible for the review and approval of suppliers and subsequent interfacing with suppliers to resolve nonconformance.
Review bids and proposals and provide advice and support to Program Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
Responsible for overseeing integration and test activities for products.
Manage customer complaint resolution and calibration system, thorough working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FAI, FMEA and DMAIC principles.
Responsible for all phases of inspection and test along with developing quality plans tailored to specific Space, Aerospace and Automotive customer applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Management Information Systems or Business
Able to obtain a US Government Secret Security Clearance.
Should have 10 years of experience in a product-based Quality Management System in accordance with the international standard ISO 9001:2015. Supervising Project Personnel, Scheduling Work, Writing Proposals and Preparing Bids.
Should have demonstrated experience successfully managing integrated teams to execute complex or larger scope business programs.
