The role you’ll contribute:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients on the unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of related clinical activities.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Makes decisions reflecting knowledge of facts, of diseases/surgical conditions, care required and good judgment
- Maintains thorough and complete record of each patient's procedure according to established standard of care
- Knows available supplies and equipment and their use within the OR suite
- Prepares and maintains sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment
- Acts as preceptor when needed
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- BSN degree preferred
- Current GA RN license
- Current BLS
- One year of general nursing experience in an acute care setting required with 1 year in the circulating and scrub position preferred
- ACLS within 3 months of hire
- PALS within 6 months of hire
