Overview
AdventHealth Medical Group is offering an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, experienced cardiothoracic surgeon to join our established team located at AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares, Florida (just outside Orlando). Training and interest in structural heart procedures would be preferred.
Our team has expertise in the full gamut of procedures including: beating heart surgery, minimally invasive atrial fibrillation surgery, complex aortic valve and root disorders, minimally invasive valve repair and replacement, extensive experience in VATS procedures including total thoracoscopic lobectomies, and thoracic aortic aneurysms.
Requirements of the position:
- At least three years of experience post training
- Diplomate of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- "Team player" mentality
