Schedule: Full Time Shift : DAY The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Waterman 1000 Waterman Way Tavares, Florida 32778 The role you’ll contribute: The Cardiovascular Invasive Laboratory Specialist IV (CILS IV) performs a wide range of technical skills, which are utilized during a variety of complex Cardiac interventional, Complex diagnostic/interventional Electrophysiology, or Interventional Radiology procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients. The CILS IV is proficient in all aspects of angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation and monitoring consistent with the policies, procedures and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department and Hospital Administration. This position requires you to be on call and you must be able to reach the hospital in 30 minutes if called in. The value you’ll bring to the team: Performs effectively in all three procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in a therapeutic cardiac laboratory team based on the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals Scope of Practice and/or performs effectively in all three procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in an electrophysiology laboratory based on the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals Scope of Practice. Takes call as rotated/assigned and responds (in hospital) per policy. Learns and upgrades skills. Utilizes knowledge base to assist with orientation, training, and education of new personnel. Provides training for procedures within their competency. Proficiently performs diagnostic and complex coronary interventional procedures, diagnostic and complex electrophysiology procedures, diagnostic and complex peripheral interventional procedures, and/or structural heart procedures, and/or diagnostic and complex pediatric interventional procedures. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: (_ _Taleo) Minimum qualifications : Associate degree OR Bachelors in Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Radiologic Technology or Respiratory Therapy • Experience in complex cardiac interventional procedures OR Basic Life Support (BLS) Must possess and maintain one of the following: • Current valid State of Florida or multi state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) • Radiologic Technologist [R.T.(R)] • Respiratory Therapist (RRT) • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) • Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) • Nationally Registered Paramedic (NREMT-P) Preferred qualifications: Experience in complex cardiac interventional procedures OR Experience in electrophysiology diagnostic and interventional procedures OR Experience in pediatric invasive procedures OR Experience in structural heart procedures This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
