Schedule: Full Time Shift : Days Location: 1395 S Pinellas Avenue, Tarpon Springs, Florida 34689 The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas The role you’ll contribute: The Hyperbaric Medical Technician administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients appropriate to the level of his/her medical training as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Physician. Operates and maintains the hyperbaric chamber(s) and associated systems and equipment. Assists in the delivery of patient care, maintains patient and environmental safety at all times. The value you’ll bring to the team: Must maintain visual observation and/or audible contact with thehyperbaric control panel and patients in hyperbaric chambers at all times Prepares the hyperbaric chamber equipment, medicine and materials needed for patients undergoing hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Operates, maintains and ensures the safety of the hyperbaric facility and all associated systems and equipment. Patient safety and facility safety are the primary goal. Supports Safety Director in maintaining operating, maintenance and safety logs and other required documentation. Signs all logs as specified in departmental policy and procedure. Maintains the cleanliness of the hyperbaric oxygen therapy equipment as per department policy Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : Medical vocation. One year Clinical hyperbaric experience and completion of a UHMS approved Hyperbaric Course. Eligibility to obtain Certified status (CHT) within one year.
